REMOVAL |
Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
Lift-up the vehicle, and remove the rear wheel.
Unlock the axle nut.

Remove the axle nut with vehicle weight not applied on axle. |

Disconnect the stabilizer link.
Remove the bolt which secures the trailing link to housing.
Remove the bolts which secure the front lateral link and rear lateral link to housing.
Remove the rear ABS wheel speed sensor from back plate.

Remove the rear drive shaft from rear axle. If it is hard to remove, remove the brake disk rotor using the ST1 and ST2.

Do not hammer the drive shaft
when removing.

Do not damage the oil seal and tone wheel.

|
Remove the rear drive shaft from rear differential using the ST.

Fit the ST to the bolt (A) as shown in the figure to avoid damage on the side bearing retainer. |
