Transport

The product is classified as dangerous goods when transporting. Special regulations apply to packaging, marking and transport, therefore existing lead times cannot be guaranteed.

Directives

The product is not flammable. Pressurized can. Must not be exposed to direct sunlight or temperatures above +50 °C. Must not be punctured or burned. Also applies to empty can. Must be stored separately from materials which may ignite the product - Smoking is prohibited. Make sure that ventilation is adequate.

Do not spray on a naked flame or any incandescent material. Keep away from sources of ignition - no smoking. Vapours that may irritate the respiratory system can be released at temperatures above 290°C.

Handling regulations

12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION

Other information

This product is not classified as dangerous to the environment. In case of release, the propellant disperses into the atmosphere leaving a film of lubricant. If the product pollutes watercourses, a partially soluble, oily mass may form, which affects dosage units and membranes of regulators on contact. Contains decafluoropentane, which is classified as harmful to aquatic organisms. The product is not readily biodegradable, although the propellant is degraded by photochemical oxidization in the atmosphere. The product contains no bioaccumulators.

Disposal considerations

Dispose of in accordance with local regulations. Empty aerosol containers can be recycled.
