Remove the rear side trim. See

Run the soft top to raised (closed) position with the soft top cover and fifth bow raised.
|
|
4.
|
Cut the cable ties and unplug the connector. Use a knife to reach the inner cable tie. Pull the wiring harness through the hole in the body.
|
|
5.
|
Run the soft top manually to the half open position and fit the soft top support (16) 82 93 144.
|
|
6.
|
Pull up the wiring harness and cut the upper cable tie.
|
|
7.
|
Remove the microswitch retaining bolt and remove the microswitch.
|
|

|
Fit the microswitch and tighten the bolt.
|
|
2.
|
Insert the wiring harness.
|
|
3.
|
Close the soft top and raise the fifth bow.
|
|
4.
|
Insert the wiring harness behind the cylinders and follow the wiring harness for the electrically heated rear window.
|
|
6.
|
Plug in the connector.
|
|
7.
|
Connect the diagnostics tool and erase any diagnostic trouble code.
|
|
8.
|
Fit the rear side trim. See
