start the fault diagnostic procedure.
Symptom: Right rear window cannot be operated.
Window Relay 4, Rear Right. Short to Ground
Fault symptom
Right rear window cannot be operated.
Condition
Internal malfunction in relay or ground is missing on pin 5 in relay base.
Diagnostic procedure
The diagnostic trouble code is generated if there is an internal malfunction in the relay or if ground is missing on pin 5 in the relay base.

Check ground for pin 5 in relay base.

Try moving the relay to the position for the right front window.
|
|

|
Activate the relay with the button for the right rear window on the centre console.
|
|

|
Right front window should raise or lower.
|
|
-
|
If the right front window raises or lowers, the problem is most likely in the wiring harness
|
Checking wiring harness
Intermittent faults can exist during temporary short circuits and open circuits. Wiggle the wiring harness at several points and in different directions to discover problems in the wiring harness and connectors. Observe the multimeter, diagnostic tool or the test lamp during checking.
