Cause:
Loose or missing spacer.
Fit a U-profile, part no. 75 35 487. use Loctite 406
|
1.
|
Manoeuvre the soft top so that the soft top cover is open.
|
|
2.
|
Apply Loctite 406 to the ribbing on the swivelling covers on the soft top cover.
|
|
3.
|
Fit the U-profile to the ribbing on the swivelling covers on the soft top cover.
|
Fit spacer, part no. 69 92 028.
|
1.
|
Manoeuvre the soft top so that the soft top cover is open.
|
|
2.
|
Remove the spacer adhesive. Grind the opposite side.
|
|
3.
|
Grind the adhesion surface of the swivelling covers on the soft top cover.
|
|
4.
|
Apply Loctite 406 on the ground side of the spacer. Fit the spacer as shown in the illustration.
|
|
5.
|
Check that the noise no longer occurs.
|
