Fault symptoms
Rattle from 5th bow lock mechanism
Cause:
Play in 5th bow lock.
Lubricate with Molycote 33.

Run the soft top so that the adjustable covering of the soft top cover is open.
|
|
2.
|
Remove the covering of the soft top cover.
|
|
3.
|
Lubricate the lock with Molycote 33. Make sure that it gets all the way into the lock.
|
|
4.
|
Operate the adjustable covering of the soft top cover a few times to allow the grease to spread throughout the lock.
|
|
5.
|
Check that the noise is gone. If necessary, lubricate again.
|
