Fault symptoms
Rattling noise from the lid over the rotating cover torsion cables
Cause:
Play between the cover and soft top cover ribs.
Fit Nitto seal, part no. 48 55 656

1.

Manoeuvre the soft top so that the soft top cover is open.
|
|
2.
|
Cut the seal into 4 sections.
|
|
3.
|
Insert the seal into the gap between the cover and soft top cover rib.
|
|
4.
|
Check that the noise no longer occurs.
|
