Raising the soft top

Raising the soft top

1 Soft top completely lowered

The same conditions apply for raising the soft top as for lowering it.

The soft top is raised by pressing the “ROOF button forwards until the soft top is completely raised (closed) and an acoustic signal is heard from SID.

The soft top is raised sequentially, i.e. each movement must be completed before starting the next.

The following table illustrates the switch and microswitch conditions when the soft top is completely lowered (open) and the soft top cover locked.

If a malfunction should occur while operating the soft top, the STC control module will send bus messages “Sound” and “Text message, whereby SID sounds an acoustic signal at the same time as it displays an error message.

The following tables and illustrations show which condition switches/microswitches, pump, valves as well as relay assume for the fifth bow latch motor at each movement sequence.
