The headlining must be loosened to expose the tailgate hinge mountings in order to permit adjustments. |

Open the tailgate.

| 2. |
Remove the door seal at the roof.
|
|
| 3. |
Loosen the rear edge of the headlining by removing the two clips (turn them 90˚ and pull them out).

|
| 4. |
Fold down the trim to expose the bolts in the tailgate hinge mountings.
|
|
| 5. |
Loosen the bolts and adjust the tailgate.
|
|
| 6. |
After adjustment
Tighten the bolts. |

| 7. |
Touch up the paint by the hinges if necessary.
|
|
| 8. |
Fold the trim back in place and fit the retainer clips for the headlining.
|
|
| 9. |
Fit the door seal, use a rubber mallet if necessary.
|
|
| 10. |
Fold the door seal outside the headlining.
|
|
| 11. |
Close the tailgate.
