Open the tailgate.

Remove the tailgate trim (5 clips, 4 bolts), see Service Manual 8:2 Interior equipment.

Remove the push rods for the lock (2 clips) and leave them suspended in the plastic hinge respective door handle. Also unplug the connector for the lock.

| 4. |
Remove the retainer bolts from the lock (3 bolts).
|
|
| 5. |
Remove the door lock by carefully lifting it out.
|
|
| To fit |
| 1. |
Fit the tailgate lock.
|
|
| 2. |
Tighten the three retainer bolts for the lock.
|
|
| 3. |
Fasten the three push rods to the lock (2 clips). Plug in the connector.
|
|
| 4. |
Fit the tailgate trim (5 clips, 4 bolts), see Service Manual, 8:2 Interior equipment.
