Remove the centre and floor consoles, see category 8:2 Interior equipment

Detach the air duct to the rear air vent.
|

Remove the E-circlip and anti-rattle clip.
|
|
| 4. |
Drive out the pin while removing the end of the cable from the ball.
|
|
| 5. |
Remove the screws securing the gear lever housing.
|
|
| 6. |
Unplug the selector lever housing's connector.
|
|
| 7. |
Lift up the selector lever housing, undo the cable ties (2 pcs.) securing the wiring harness for the ignition switch and airbag, unplug the connection from the ignition switch.

Remove the clamp located beside the locking catches.
|
|
| 9. |
Carefully press the catches securing the cable ferrule towards each other and remove the cable from the bracket.

| 10. |
Lift out the selector lever housing.

| To fit |
| 1. |
Fit the selector lever housing in place.
|
|
| 2. |
Connect the cable to the selector lever housing and fit the clamp.
|
|
| 3. |
Plug in the electric connection to the gear lever housing and ignition switch while putting the gear lever housing in place. Refit the 2 wiring harness cable ties and the cover securing the wiring harness to the lever housing.

| 4. |
Tighten the lever housing and connect the air duct.
|
|
| 5. |
Press in the pin at the same time as the ball engages in the end of the wire. Support the end of the wire.

| 6. |
Fit the E-circlip and anti-rattle clip.
|
|
| 7. |
Fit the air duct to the rear air vent and tape the electric lead to the remote control receiver.

Fit the centre and floor consoles, see category 8:2 Interior equipment

Adjust the position of the cable.
