Remove the cover by the door mirror.

Remove the door opening handle by loosening the bolt under the cover.
|
|
| 3. |
Remove the closing handle cover.
|
|
| 4. |
Remove the screws that secure the door trim.
|
|
| 5. |
Remove the expander rivet.
|
|
| 6. |
Carefully pull away the door trim and lift it off the lock button.
|

| 7. |
Remove the boot lid opening button.
|

In order to decrease the number of parts kept in stock, the same door trim has been used on the Saab 9-3 Coupé and Saab 9-3 Convertible. When fitting new door trim on the Saab 9-3 Convertible, the front upper corner of the trim must be cut as follows:

Mark the cutting line.

Position a support along the cutting line and cut away the corner. Use a hacksaw or a knife.

Put in place the boot lid opening button.
|
|
| 4. |
Position the door trim and press it in place.
|
|
| 5. |
Tighten the bolts and fit the lock washer.
|
|
| 6. |
Refit the door pull cover.
|
|
| 7. |
Refit the opening handle, tighten the bolt and press on the cover.
|
|
| 8. |
Refit the cover by the door mirror.
|
