1. Washer fluid, topping-up

8. Saab Information Display: Clock, setting. SID, programming

10. Wipers and washers, function check
11. Tyre pressure, checking and adjusting (spare tyre also)
12. Oil level, leakage, checking and topping up. Engine, automatic transmission and power steering
13. Fluid level, leakage, checking and topping up. Coolant system, brakes and clutch
14. (Turbo only). Connect cable to solenoid valve
15. Underbody, raise the car and check for transit damage. Observe that anti-corrosion protection must be intact.
Important

Lift the car using only the points indicated in the illustration.


16. (Certain markets only). Brake disc transit protection, removing
17. (9–3 Viggen only). Transit support on front shock absorbers, removing
18. Rear axle mountings, tightening
19. Cover in spoiler, fitting. Place the tools and accessories as indicated. (9–3 Viggen only): Radio antenna rod, fitting (9–3 Viggen on US, CA, PA, JP and AU markets only): Front towing eye, removing (9–3 Viggen only): Radio antenna rod, fitting
20. (European market only). "Certificate of Conformity", place with the customer's vehicle documents.
21. TWICE control module, programming
22. DTCs, clearing in all control modules.
23. Road test
24. SE, US and CA markets only . DTCs after road test, make sure no new DTCs have been detected in the control systems for the engine and automatic transmission.
25. Cleaning
Warning

Lengthy and repeated contact with mineral oil removes the natural oils from your skin, drying it out and causing irritation. If oil has been swallowed, do not provoke vomiting. Call a doctor.
