The anti-freeze sensor is located on the evaporator outlet pipe and is connected to the central control electronics (DICE). The control module is programmed for compressor cut-out when the temperature drops below +3°C. When the temperature increases and exceeds +5°C, the compressor cuts in again. In this manner, freezing and formation of ice on the evaporator is prevented.
| Diagnosis |
If diagnostic trouble code B2355 is generated in DICE for the anti-freeze sensor, the A/C compressor will not cut-in/cut-out.
