Driving auxiliary equipment

Check the operation and condition of the belt tensioner by pressing the belt. The belt should return smoothly and evenly to its correctly tensioned state.

Checking condition of belt

The belt must be completely free of any cracks and without showing any material shedding.

If there are cracks or other defects on the side or rear, the belt must be replaced.

If there is oil leakage on the auxiliary equipment side of the engine, it is recommended to check and eventually replace the drive belt.
