Measuring directions are indicated in the table column "Measure" according to the following:
X = Measure lengthwise, along the body
Y = Measure sideways, across the body
Z = Measure vertically, up along the side of the body
The digit in the column "measure" indicates the tolerance for:
1 = engineering measurements according to coordinates
2 = actual measurements, generally direct diagonal measurements
3 = tolerance for best fit
Each coordinate originates from a 0-line. X0 can not be used practically and is not noted.
Y0 is indicated. The line divides the body in a left and right half. Width measurements are indicated between two measuring points. When measuring one half, mark Y0 between holes and half the measurements and tolerances.
Z0 is given. The line runs below the body, see pos. 8, 13 and 47.
