Operate the soft top to half open position and fit special tool
Soft top support
(16) 82 93 144 to prevent the soft top from falling down once the hydraulic pressure is released.

Remove the stop lugs from the second bow.
|
|
| 3. |
Remove the plastic clips from the second bow.
|
|
| 4. |
Remove the plastic retainer securing the headlining to the second bow.
|
|
| 5. |
Loosen the outer roof, which is fastened with double-backed tape around the second bow.
|

| 6. |
Tap out the second bow from the guide pins and remove the bow.
|

| Fitting |

Insert the second bow between the headlining and the outer roof.
|

| 2. |
Press down the second bow on the guide pins and fit the stop lugs.
|

| 3. |
Fit new double-backed tape on the second bow.
Fit the fabric that secures the outer roof. Fit it over and around the second bow. Fasten it to the double-backed tape and check that the fabric is lined up with the holes for the clips. |

Press on the plastic retainer with the headlining on the second bow.
|
|
| 5. |
Press in the plastic clips.
|
|
