Remove the upper engine cover.
|
|
2.
|
Remove the intake hose from the mass air flow sensor and turbocharger. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from the camshaft cover and bend it aside.

3.
|
Remove the upper timing chain tensioner.
|
|
1.
|
Fit the upper timing chain tensioner with a new seal. Make sure that the chain tensioner is fitted the right way round, as illustrated.
Tightening torque 60 Nm (44 lbf ft)

2.
|
Fit the intake hose between the mass air flow sensor and turbocharger. Connect the crankcase ventilation hose to the camshaft cover.
|
|
3.
|
Fit the upper engine cover.
|
