Undo the five screws on the seal retainer and remove the seal retainer. Keep shims, screws and the seal retainer in a safe place.

Press out the sealing ring with
87 91 311 Sleeve, driver shaft bearing
and
87 92 236 Support, for fitting F35 speed gear
.

| 3. |
Detach the O-ring with a small screwdriver or similar.

| To fit |
| 1. |
Press on the sealing ring to the bottom with
87 92 657 Fitting drift, drive shaft seals
. Use
87 92 236 Support, for fitting F35 speed gear
for support.

| 2. |
Lubricate a new O-ring and carefully fit it.
|
|
| 3. |
Fit the seal retainer and shims with the screws. Tighten alternately.
Tightening torque 22 Nm (16 lbf ft)
