The ACM uses the following information

| Diagnostics communication, | Diagnostic tool | The control module must receive a voltage feed and the bus leads must be intact. |
The ACM sends the following information

| Airbag activated | On/Off | CU, ICM | The control module provides information regarding activated detonation circuits. The ICM uses the signal to generate a message in the SID. The CU uses the signal to inform emergency communication services when a collision has occurred. |
| Airbag warning lamp | lit / extinguished | ICM, MIU | MIU turns on the warning lamp with this message. ICM activates the warning message in SID. |
| Seat-belt buckle, driver | unlocked / locked | BCM | The airbag control module sends the message and uses the information for activation is necessary, see Control Module information. The BCM provides a seat-belt reminder by using this message. |
| Seat-belt buckle, passenger | unlocked / locked | BCM, ACC, ICM, CU | The ACM sends the message and uses the information for activation is necessary, see Control Module information. The BCM provides a seat-belt reminder by using this message. |
| Diagnostics communication, | The control module must receive a voltage feed and the bus leads must be intact. |
