The side impact sensors detect possible impact intensity at an early stage and send information to the control module.

They possess a unique electronic identity and have specific mechanically coded connectors.
| Connection |
The driver's side impact sensor (dark grey) is supplied with voltage B+ to pin 2 from control module pin 73. The signal from sensor pin 1 is connected to pin 72 on the control module.
The passenger side impact sensor (light grey) is supplied with voltage B+ to pin 2 from control module pin 70. The signal from sensor pin 1 is connected to pin 71 on the control module.
The passenger side impact sensor, left rear (brown) is supplied with voltage B+ to pin 2 from control module pin 61. The signal from sensor pin 1 is connected to pin 62 on the control module.
The passenger side impact sensor, right rear (yellow) is supplied with voltage B+ to pin 2 from control module pin 59. The signal from sensor pin 1 is connected to pin 60 on the control module.
