To remove the headlight frame, it is not necessary to remove the bumper member with integrated collision box.

Drill out the two upper spot welds.

Remove the 2 upper bolts.
|
|
| 3. |
Drill out the spot welds on the wheel housing and side member.
|
|
| 4. |
Tap out the headlight frame and pull it up from the collision box.

| To fit |
Straighten the surfaces against which the replacement panel is to be fitted. Apply welding primer to the areas to be welded and anti-corrosion agent to the drilled holes.

Fit the headlight frame between the collision box and member. Position the frame against the wheel housing and collision box.

Plug weld or spot weld the frame as illustrated. It is not necessary to re-weld the frame to the collision box (for production only).

| 3. |
Grind the welds.
|
|
| 4. |
Fit the bolts.
|
|
| 5. |
Wash away surplus welding primer. Welding primer reduces the adhesion of paint, filler and sealant.

Apply primer to all bare metal surfaces.
|
|
| 7. |
Apply rust protector after painting. Use Terotex HV 400.
