Open the bonnet

Disconnect the battery.
Remove the ground cable. |

| 3. |
Remove the battery.
Remove the guard Disconnect the positive cable (1) Remove the holder (2) - Unscrew the bolt (3)

Remove the battery holder (1)
Undo the ground distributor - Undo the screw (4) Undo the positive distributor - Undo the screw (2) Undo the cable set • 3x Undo the bolt (3) Detach the coolant hose (5)

Raise the car
|

Fit KM-6313 (
83 96 145 Centring fixture, subframe - engine
with
83 96 368 Additional kit for centring fixture
) (1)
Place 83 96 145 Centring fixture, subframe - engine to the left of the front axle member (arrows, picture I) Instruction: The guide bolt must be in the hole in the front axle member Put both right-hand holders onto the front axle member (arrows, picture II) Instruction: The guide bolt must be in the hole in the front axle member (arrow, picture III) 2x Tighten bolt

Fit support
On KM-6313 - Adjust the support mounting Screw on the nut

3x Adjust the support
Gearbox end Instruction: Turn the spindle until the brackets (1) are firmly against the guide pins Engine control end, Instruction: Insert the support pin firmly into the engine block hole (arrow). Tighten the bolts, nut and support |

Lower the car
|

Remove the left engine pad
3x Unscrew (1) 
|
|
| 11. |
Remove the gearbox left holder
3x Undo the bolt (2) |
|
| 12. |
Remove the left engine pad
4x Undo the bolt To fit |
|
| 13. |
Fit the left engine pad
4x Tighten bolt - Tightening torque 20 Nm |
|
| 14. |
Fit the gearbox left holder
3x Tighten bolt - Tightening torque 80 Nm |
|
| 15. |
Fit the left engine pad
3x Tighten bolt - Tightening torque 55 Nm |
|
| 16. |
Fit the battery holder
3x Tighten bolt Fit the ground distributor - Tighten the bolt Fit the positive distributor - Tighten the bolt Fasten the cable set Fasten the coolant hose. |

Fit the battery.
|

| 18. |
Raise the car
|
|
| 19. |
Remove the support
Engine control side |
|
| 20. |
Remove KM-6313
|
|
| 21. |
Lower the car
|
|
| 22. |
Connect the battery.
|
|
| 23. |
Program erased memories
|
|
| 24. |
Close the bonnet
