Open the bonnet

Remove the engine protection cover.
Unscrew the lid on the oil filler connection 2x Unscrew Screw on the lid on the oil filler connection Warning: observe safety regulations and country-specific stipulations |

Fit
83 94 744 Adapter, fuel pressure gauge
and 83 93 860 Hose kit
Unscrew the test connector protective collar on the fuel rail 
|

| 4. |
Start the engine.
Bleed the fuel pressure tester Read the fuel pressure on the pressure gauge - Normal value 380 kPa +/- 20 kPa (3.8 bar +/- 0.2 bar) Morning: lower the fuel pressure with the fuel pressure tester |

Switch off the engine
Connect any fuel that runs out in a suitable container |
|
| 6. |
Remove the pressure measuring equipment
Screw the cap on the test connection |
|
| 7. |
Fit the engine cover.
Unscrew the lid on the oil filler connection 2x Tighten bolt - Tightening torque 8 Nm Screw on the lid on the oil filler connection |
