Torque arm

Removal of right-hand torque arm

1.	Place the car on a lift.

2.	Raise the car and remove the lower engine cover.

3.	Remove the torque arm.

Fitting of right-hand torque arm

1.	Fit the torque arm. Thread the bolts. Tighten the bolt in the oil sump first. Tightening torque 37 Nm (27 lbf ft)

2.	Tighten the bolt securing the torque arm to the subframe. Tightening torque 70 Nm + 90° (52 lbf ft + 90°)

3.	Fit the lower engine cover and lower the car.

Removal of left-hand torque arm

1.	Place the car on a lift.

2.	Raise the car and remove the lower engine cover.

3.	Remove the torque arm.

Fitting of left-hand torque arm

1.	Fit the torque arm. Thread the bolts. Tighten the bolt in the gearbox bracket first. Tightening torque 70 Nm + 90° (52 lbf ft + 90°)

2.	Tighten the bolt securing the torque arm to the subframe. Tightening torque 70 Nm + 90° (52 lbf ft + 90°)

3.	Fit the lower engine cover and lower the car.
