Window lift, front, CV

To remove


1. Open the window fully and then raise it approx. 10 cm.

2. Remove Door trim, CV .

3. Carefully pull out the fixing plugs from the rear portion of the outer weatherstrip. Carefully fold up the outer weatherstrip, starting at the rear and working towards the door mirror base.


4. Carefully lift off the inner weatherstrip.


5. Remove the water barrier.

6. Loosen the forward screw and remove the rear screw holding the door window. Lift out the door window.


7. Remove the lower cover by bending up the lower edge using the removal tool.

8. Remove the nuts and bolts holding the lift mechanism.


9. Unplug the lift motor connector.

10. Certain markets : Remove the door's spacer.


11. Undo the cable from the clip.


12. Push in the lift mechanism to free the studs. Remove the window lift by:

A, B : Tilting the rear section forwards and lifting it out from the door.


13. C, D : Tilt the motor section downwards. Lift out the lift mechanism.



To fit


1. Fit the window lift by:

A, B : First manoeuvre in the motor section and then the rear section of the lift mechanism. Put in place the nuts and bolts of the motor section.


2. C, D : Position the rear section of the window lift. Ensure that the head of the lower adjustment screw is correctly located in the door seating.


3. Certain markets : Fit the spacer. Be careful not to knock out any door trim clips.


4. Fit the cable to the clip.


5. Plug in the lift motor connector. Tighten all window lift fixings.


6. If necessary lower the lift mechanism until the door window screws are accessible.

7. If necessary fit the plastic mount to the door window.


8. Manoeuvre the door window in from above and locate it in the mounting position.

9. Fit the rear screw and tighten the forward screw holding the door window.


10. Locate the outer weatherstrip in position and push the fixing plugs into place. Check that the flap is correctly positioned.


11. Push the weatherstrip firmly into place.

12. Fit the inner weatherstrip. Check that it is correctly located against the outer weatherstrip.


13. Fit the lower cover.

14. Test the operation of the door window and adjust if necessary, see Adjustment of the door mirror base seal and windows .

15. Fit the water barrier.

16. Fit the Door trim. .
