Bonnet insulation, replacement

Press a 1.5 mm Allen key with ball end into the hole in order to release the catches on the clips. Pull the clips out.

Remove the insulation from the catches on the rear edge of the bonnet.
|

Fit the insulation onto the catches (A) on the rear edge of the bonnet.
|
|
2.
|
Centre the insulation so that the clip holes align.
|

Fit the clips (B).

Wear protective safety glasses.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
4.
|
Drill holes (C), 8.5 mm, in the bonnet for the front, outer clips.
Use a drill stop

|
Remove the insulation and remove the drill swarf.
|
|
6.
|
Apply anti-corrosion treatment to the holes.
|
|
7.
|
Fit the insulation into the catches and fit the clips.
|
