Open the bonnet
Warning: only open the coolant equalising container when the engine is cold
|
|
2.

Unscrew the coolant equalising container cap
|
|
3.
|
Check the coolant level.

Instruction: to the marking KALT/COLD - fill with coolant as necessary
|
|
5.
|
Increase the pressure in the cooling system
Instruction: apply pressure of approximately 100 kPa (1 bar) to the cooling system.

|
6.
|
Check cooling system tightness
Check for leaks
|
|
7.
|
Remove the cooling system tester
Lower the pressure
Remove KM-471, KM-6327 or the alternative tools.
|
|
8.
|
Screw on the coolant equalising container cap
|
