Engine control module, removing and fitting

Remove the engine protection cover.
|
|
2.
|
Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.
|
|
3.
|
Undo both cable set connectors (1) and pull them off from the engine control module.
|
|
4.
|
Undo the knock sensor cable set connector (2) and pull out from the holder.
|
|
5.
|
Remove the retaining bolt (6) - remove the holder (5) and the ground cable (7) from the engine control module.

6.
|
Undo the retaining bolt (3).
|
|
7.
|
Remove the retaining bolt (4) - remove the engine control module.
|
|
1.
|
Fit the engine control module onto the intake manifold - tightening torque 8 Nm.
|
|
2.
|
Fit the holder and the ground cable to the engine control module.
|
|
3.
|
Connect the knock sensor cable set connector and fasten to the holder.
|
|
4.
|
Fit and lock both cable set connectors to the engine control module.
|
|
5.
|
Connect the ground cable to the battery.
|
