Checking the wiring harness
Jiggle the wiring harness at several points to detect intermittent breaks or short circuits. Check also the connector for oxidation or loose pins.
Diagnostic help
The DTC can be generated due to:
| • | Voltage too low during starter motor cranking. |
| • | If +30 to the control module disappears when the engine is running. |
