On-board diagnosis
Type of diagnosis:
Enable criteria:
| Closed loop lambda control active. |
Fault criteria:
| When the fuel correction factor for O2S2 is adjusted by more than 3 % in rich mode in relation to the lambda value for more than 4 s. |
Checking the wiring harness
Move the wiring harness at several spots and in several directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short-circuits. Check switches, connectors and crimp connections for oxidation, retracted pins and pin clamping force.
Diagnostic help
Diagnosis regards:
| Worn-out sensor. Engine management system can no longer compensate for sensor operation. |
