Bypass solenoid valve, EGR cooling (761), Z19DTR

Important

Always use wing covers when working in the engine bay.


To remove

Warning

Exercise caution as the engine can be very hot.



1. Remove the upper engine cover and insulation.

2. Remove the solenoid valve:


• Unplug the connector (A).

• Detach the hose (B).

• Remove the 2 bolts (C).


To fit


1. Fit the solenoid valve:


• Position the solenoid valve and fit 2 bolts (C).

• Plug in the connector (B).

• Attach the hose (A).

2. Fit the insulation and the upper engine cover.
