Always use wing covers when working in the engine bay.
|
|
|
Warning

Exercise caution as the engine can be very hot.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
1.
|
Remove the upper engine cover and insulation.
|
|
2.
|
Remove the solenoid valve connector.
|
|
3.
|
Remove the two bolts holding the accelerator actuator.
|
|
4.
|
Detach the pipe from the solenoid valve.
|
|
5.
|
Remove the three bolts of the solenoid valve. Lift away the unit.
|
|
6.
|
Remove the engine cover bracket.
|
|
1.
|
Clean the sealing surfaces.
|
|
2.
|
Fit the solenoid valve unit and the engine cover bracket with three bolts.
Tightening torque 25 Nm (18 lbf ft)
|
|
3.
|
Fit the two bolts to the accelerator actuator. Use new gasket.
|
|
4.
|
Fit the pipe with a new gasket on the solenoid valve.
|
|
5.
|
Connect the solenoid valve connector.
|
|
6.
|
Fit the insulation and the upper engine cover.
|
