DTC P0455, P0442 & P0456 - purge valve
|
Saab 9-3 Petrol engine.
A high no of purge valves exchanged, are checked at supplier and the
result is "No fault found".
May appear on any vehicle with petrol engine.
Failure code P0455, P0442 & P0456.
Before purge system is leak tested, check if filler cap is broken or
not sealing correctly.

If filler cap is incorrectly fitted, one of DTC's above may appear!
|

|
If system is leak tested and no leakage is found,
DO NOT REPLACE PURGE VALVE!
|
|
•
|
Erase DTC and inform the customer of importance to tighten the
filler cap properly after fuel fill.
|
