Remove the battery's air inlet pipe.
|

Press in the catch and bend away the electrical centre in front of the battery.
|

4.

Remove the fuse holder locking plate and remove the fuse holder.
|
|
5.
|
Undo the catches on the cable duct from the radiation protection.
|
|
6.
|
Cars with theft protection:
Detach the bonnet switch from the battery cover.
|
|
7.
|
Remove the bottom of the battery cover.
|
|

Fit the bottom of the battery cover, making sure the positive cable lies in the cable duct.
|
|
2.
|
Fit the bottom of the battery cover.
Tightening torque 24 Nm (18 lbf ft)
|

3.
|
Cars with theft protection:
Fit the bonnet switch to the battery cover.
|
|
5.
|
Fit the cable duct onto the radiation protection
|
|
6.
|
Fit the electrical centre.
|
|
7.
|
Fit the battery's air inlet pipe.
|
