Procedures before dismantling the control module

Remove
Drive shafts, rear, 4WD
left and right-hand side.

Remove
Exhaust system assembly, 4WD

Remove the
Propeller shaft
.
|
|
| 5. |
Unhook the hooks (A) from the control module and remove the protective cover (B) from the hydraulic pump.
|

| 6. |
Undo the cable clips (A).
|
|
| 7. |
Remove the electrical connection (A).
|

| 8. |
Use a column jack as support for the differential clutch, secure with cable ties (A).
|
|
| 9. |
Remove the bolts (B) for the differential clutch and limited slip differential.
|
|
| 10. |
Lower the differential clutch and limited slip differential.

|
Be careful that the differential clutch control module does not get damaged. |

| 1. |
Use a column jack as support for the differential clutch, secure with cable ties (A).
|
|
| 2. |
Raise the differential clutch and limited slip differential.
|
|
| 3. |
Fit the bolts (B) for the differential clutch and limited slip differential.
Tightening torque 90 Nm (66.3 lbf ft) +90°+15° |
|
| 4. |
Fit the electrical connection (A).
|
|
| 5. |
Fit the cable clip (A).
|
|
| 6. |
Fit the
Propeller shaft
.
|
|
| 7. |
Fit
Exhaust system assembly, 4WD
.

|
| 8. |
Fit
Drive shafts, rear, 4WD
, left and right-hand side.

| 9. |
Fit the protective cover (B) to the hydraulic pump and hook the hooks (A) into the control module.
|
|
In the event of replacement, carry out Procedure after changing the control module .
