|
If the car is equipped with a radio other than a genuine Saab radio, check that the customer has the radio code before commencing work.
|
|
1.
|
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
|
|
3.
|
Remove the wiring harness:
|
|
|
•
|
Unplug the wiring harness connector (A).
|
|
|
•
|
Remove the holder (B) from the wiring harness connector.
|
|
|
•
|
Detach the connector (A) for the injectors. Use a small screwdriver.
|
|
Note
|
|
Spray all the connectors with anti-corrosion protection,
Contact Protect
or similar, to prevent verdigris formation.
|
|
Clean all the grounding points and coat them with
Vaseline
.
|
|
1.
|
Fit the wiring harness:
|
|
|
•
|
Plug in the injectors' connector (A).
|
|
|
•
|
Fit the holder (B) for the wiring harness connector.
|
|
|
•
|
Plug in the wiring harness connector (A).
|
|
3.
|
Connect the negative cable of the battery.
|
|
4.
|
Set the date and time and program any radio code.
|
