Check/change of oil in the limited slip differential

1.

Place the car flat on a lift.
|
|
2.
|
Loosen the level plug (A).
|
|
3.
|
When changing:
Loosen the drain plug (B).
|
|
4.
|
When changing:
Drain the oil.
|
|
5.
|
When servicing:
Draw or drain out 150 ml oil
|
|

When changing:
Fit the drain plug (B) with a new sealing washer.
|
|
2.
|
Add oil until it begins to flow out, using a clean funnel and hose. The oil level should be at the lower edge of the hole, see
Fluid capacity and grade of fluid
.

3.
|
When servicing:
Refill 150 ml new oil.
|
|
4.
|
Fit the level plug (A) with new sealing washer.
Tightening torque: plugs 25 Nm (18.4 lbf ft)
