Master cylinder

Remove
Acoustic baffle, driver

| 6. |
Unhook the return spring and remove the brake pedal link bolt.
|
|
| 7. |
Detach the vacuum hose from the brake servo.
|
|
| 8. |
Remove the brake servo bolts. Keep track of the O-rings that sit between the brake servo and the body.
|
|
| 9. |
Remove the brake servo from the bulkhead.
|
|
| To fit |
| 1. |
Change the brake servo gasket.
|
|
| 2. |
Apply
74 96 268 Thread locking adhesive
to the brake servo bolts. Position the brake servo and check that the pushrod fork is correctly positioned at the brake pedal. Fit the brake servo bolts with O-rings between the brake servo and body.
Tightening torque: 20 Nm 
|

| 3. |
Fit the vacuum hose to the brake servo.
|
|
| 4. |
Fit the brake pedal link bolt and hook the return spring into place.
|
|
| 5. |
Depress the brake pedal slightly and pull the adjuster pins out of the pedal switch and release the pedal.
