| 1. |
Remove the lower engine cover
|

Raise the car.
|
| • |
Remove the lower engine cover.
|
| 2. |
Place a receptacle under the car.
|
|
| 3. |
Remove the oil filter.
|
|
| • |
Connect a hose to the drain pipe of the oil filter holder (A).
|

Use
32 025 051 Oil filter spanner
to undo the oil filter cover and let the oil run out through the hose (B).

Remove the cover.
|
| • |
Remove the oil filter (C).
|
| To fit |
| 1. |
Fit the oil filter.
|
|
| • |
Fit new O-rings.
|
| • |
Position the oil filter in the cover.
|
| • |
Fit the cover.
Tightening torque 25 Nm (18 lbf ft) |
| • |
Wipe up any spilled oil.
|
| 2. |
Fit the lower engine cover.
|
|
| 3. |
Lower the car.
|
|
| 4. |
Fill with oil to specification. See
Lubricating system
. Check the level when the engine is warm, 2-5 minutes after it is switched off.
