| 1. |
Remove the protective covers from the wiper arm retaining nuts.

Remove the wiper arms using
85 80 144 Puller, windscreen wiper arm
.

| 3. |
Remove the rear bonnet seal.
|
|
| 4. |
Remove the cover clips.
|
|
| 5. |
Start to remove the cover from the right-hand side. Lift aside the foam block and lift up the front edge of the cover so that the catch and clips come loose. Bend aside the corner tab. Continue with the left-hand side and release the clips and catch under the windscreen.

| 6. |
Lift aside the cover.
|
|
| 7. |
RHD:
Cut the cable tie.
|
|
| 8. |
Release the connector from the clip by pressing up the catch on the connector.
|
|
| 9. |
Unplug the connector.
|
|
| 10. |
Remove the wiper assembly.
|
|
| To fit |
| 1. |
Fit the wiper assembly.
|
|
| 2. |
Plug in the connector.
|
|
| 3. |
Fit the connector to the clip.
|
|
| 4. |
Turn the ignition ON to zero the position of the wiper assembly.
|
|
| 5. |
Check that the movement of the wiper assembly is correct.
|
|
| 6. |
RHD:
Secure with a cable tie.
|
|
| 7. |
Start by fitting the cover on the left-hand side. Guide in the corner against the windscreen moulding and left-hand windscreen wiper spindle.

|
| 8. |
Lift aside the foam block and guide in the catch under the windscreen.
|
|
| 9. |
Position the cover over the right-hand wiper spindle.
|
|
| 10. |
Bend down the corner tab so that it passes the hinge and bonnet. Position the corner tab under the windscreen moulding. Guide in the catch under the windscreen and press down the cover to engage the clips.

| 11. |
Lift up the foam blocks and fit the clips.
|
|
| 12. |
Fit the rear bonnet seal.
|
|
| 13. |
Fit the wiper arms to the wiper arm spindles.
The distance between the wiper arm mounting in the wiper blade and the cover should be: Driver's side = 45 mm Passenger side = 45 mm |

| 14. |
Fit the wiper arms.
Tightening torque 20 Nm (15 lbf ft) |
|
| 15. |
Fit the protective covers to the wiper arm retaining nuts.
|
|
| 16. |
Check the function of the wipers.
|
