Specified equipment is part of a rational Saab workplace and should be positioned as indicated in the layout unless local ordinances specify otherwise. Do not use the layout sheets as blueprints. Consider them suggestions for good equipment placement.
The measurements specified in the illustrations are designed to give the service mechanic enough space and enable him to perform his work as comfortably as possible. It is also important to be able to opens doors, bonnets, etc. without causing damage.
You should also follow our recommendations for the interior to maintain a Saab identity.
