Preheated oxygen sensor, lower, 4WD (593), A20NFT/LHU

The exhaust pipe from the turbocharger can be extremely hot. Proceed with caution.

|
|
|
1.
|
Unplug the connector (A) for the oxygen sensor (B) and carefully lower the cable.
|
|
2.
|
Remove the oxygen sensor (B).
|
|

|
Lubricate the threads sparingly with
90 513 210 Universal paste
and fit the oxygen sensor (CB).
Tightening torque 42 Nm (31 lbf ft)

Important
|
|
Make sure cables to the oxygen sensor are not twisted or damaged.
|
|
|
|
|
2.
|
Lift up the oxygen sensor cable (B). Make sure it does not get pinched or is exposed to chafing.
|
|
3.
|
Plug in the oxygen sensor connector and secure it (A).
|
