Fuel pump, high pressure

To remove

Warning

Open the fuel tank filler cap to reduce the pressure in the fuel system before performing any service work on the system to reduce the risk of personal injury.

After the pressure in the fuel system has been reduced, small amounts of fuel can leak out when working on the fuel lines, fuel injection pump or connections. To reduce the risk of personal injury, cover the components in the fuel system with a clean cloth before removing them. The cloth draws up any leaking fuel.
