Bypass valve diaphragm, A20NFT/LHU

1.

Remove the intake hose between the turbo and the air box.
|
|
2.
|
Remove the hose (B) from the turbo's bypass valve.
|
|
3.
|
Undo the bolts (A) for the valve cover (C). Counterhold on the cover (C) when the bolts (A) are removed.
|
|
4.
|
Remove the cover (C) and the diaphragm kit.
|
|
1.
|
Clean the cover (C) and the turbo from gasket residue.
|
|
2.
|
Fit the new diaphragm kit.
|
|
3.
|
Fit the cover (C) to the turbo. Use the new screws (A) and the new gasket.
Tightening torque 10 Nm (7 lbf ft)
|
|
4.
|
Fit the hose (B) to the turbo's bypass valve.
|
|
5.
|
Fit the intake hose between the turbo and the air box.
|
|
6.
|
Fit the mass air flow sensor connector and the hoses.
|
|
7.
|
Check the bypass valve.
|
