Raise the car.

Spoiler shield, front

Detach the hose clip (A) on the lower junction hose from the charge air pipe.
|

| 4. |
Remove the charge air pipe's (B) mounting from the fan cowling.
|
|
| 5. |
Lower the car.
|
|
| 6. |
Remove the upper engine cover.
|
|
| 7. |
Undo the bolts (C) and remove the bracket (D).
|
|
| 8. |
Lift away the delivery pipe (E).

To reduce the risk of hoses mounted on the delivery side of the turbocharger coming loose due to low friction at high air pressure, the hoses and connecting pieces must be cleaned thoroughly before fitting. Use a rag dampened with 93 160 907 Motip Dupli cleaning agent to wipe clean inside the ends of the hoses. Clean the connecting pieces as well. If hose clips are rusty or damaged, they must be replaced so the correct clamping force is maintained. |

Put the delivery pipe (E) in place. Fit the bolts (C).

Fit the delivery pipe bracket (D).
|

| 3. |
Raise the car.
|
|
| 4. |
Fit the charge air pipe’s bracket (B) on the fan cowling.
|
|
| 5. |
Tighten the hose clip (A).
|

Fit the
Spoiler shield, front

| 7. |
Lower the car.
|
|
| 8. |
Fit the engine cover.
