Throttle body actuator (604), Z19DTR

1.
|
Remove the engine cover, insulation and hose.
|
|
|
•
|
Remove the upper engine cover and insulation.
|
|
|
•
|
Remove the hose between the throttle body and the turbo delivery pipe.
|
Important
|
|
Take care when releasing the locking mechanism on the connector so as not to damage the connector. Pull the halves straight apart to avoid bending the pins. For further information regarding connectors, refer to

.

|
|
|
2.
|
Remove the throttle body.
|
|
|
•
|
Remove the hose bracket (A).
|
|
|
•
|
Remove the throttle body (B).
|
|
|
•
|
Raise the throttle body and unplug the actuator connector (C).
|
|
1.
|
Clean the sealing surfaces, use a new gasket. Fit the throttle body.
Tightening torque 9 Nm (6 lbf ft)

Important
|
|
Take care when plugging in the connector so as not to damage or press out the pins/sleeves in the connector. For further information regarding connectors, refer to

|
|
|
2.
|
Fit the throttle body.
|
|
|
•
|
Plug in the actuator connector (C).
|
|
|
•
|
Fit the throttle body (B).
Tightening torque 9 Nm (6 lbf ft)
|
|
|
•
|
Fit the hose bracket (A).
|
|
3.
|
Fit the hose between the throttle body and the turbo delivery pipe.
|
|
4.
|
Fit the insulation and the upper engine cover.
|
