| Description |
The Saab infotainment system is available with single CD or CD changer. It is prepared for installation of a telephone.
The audio system is available in three levels: Premium 70, Premium 150 Prestige 300 or Bose®. See the overview above for the content of the various systems.
All infotainment systems use the SID unit to display selected functions. Some functions can be controlled via the steering wheel buttons.
Antenna
4D: The heating element on the rear window acts as an FM receiver while AM reception is provided by two separate wires in the rear window. For improved FM reception, the car can also be fitted with a diversity antenna integrated in the AM antenna. An antenna amplifier amplifies and sends the antenna signal to the EHU.5D: The antennas for radio reception are integrated in the rear side windows. The AM/FM antenna is located in the rear right side window and the FM antenna in the rear left side window. To amplify the antenna signal, one or two antenna amplifiers are fitted to transmit the amplified antenna signal to the main radio unit. The antenna amplifiers are located under the respective rear side window and are available in three versions, one for antenna system 1 and two for antenna system 2.
CV: The radio antenna (FM/AM) is located on the right-hand side of the soft top cover. An antenna amplifier (624b) in the antenna base transmits antenna signals to the EHU via the bypass unit (624a) located at the right-hand A-pillar.
