All Saab 9-3 Sport Sedan are equipped with an airbag system. Note the following when carrying out body repairs:

When performing work that subjects the body to blows and jabs, the ignition must be OFF.
|
|
•
|
When welding, the negative lead of the battery must be disconnected and covered.
|
|
•
|
When painting, the bolt holes of control modules and grounding points must be covered to safeguard the control module's ground contact.
