Infill panel, side panel, CV


1. Position the car in an aligning bench and cross-measure if necessary.

2. Drill out the spot welds on the side panel's infill panel.


3. Tap loose the side panel's infill panel and align any damaged sheet metal or panels.

4. Grind all surfaces that are to be welded.

5. Drill holes for plug welding in the side panel's new infill panel.

6. Apply welding primer to the surfaces to be spot and plug welded. Use Teroson Zink Spray.

7. Place the spare part in fitting position, position it precisely and secure with a few welding clamps

8. Spot and plug weld the side panel's infill panel.


9. Remove any remaining welding primer. Welding primer reduces adhesion of paint, filler and sealant.

10. Apply primer to all bare metal surfaces. Use Standox 1K.

11. Seal joints and sheet metal flanges with sealant. Use 1K-PUR.

12. Apply anti-corrosion agent to internal surfaces after painting. Use Terotex HV 400.
